What exactly is a shopper persona?: A lifelike customer — a budget, patience level, device, and goal — run by AI as a live browser agent on your real site. It browses, gets confused, gives up or checks out — then tells you how the journey felt, in its own words. One shopper persona = one completed customer journey.
What's the difference between shopper personas and AI visibility runs?: Shopper personas show how customers experience your site — where it frustrates them, in their own words. AI visibility runs check how AI assistants — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — see, rank, and recommend your site, and give you an AI Readiness Score plus who the assistants name instead of you. Shopper personas are on every plan including Free; AI visibility runs come with every paid plan (an equal number to your personas) and top-up packs include both.
What happens when I run out?: Nothing scary. We nudge you at 50%, 80%, and 95% of your monthly customers, and launching past your balance simply asks you to top up or upgrade — we never silently bill you or start a metered overage. Free accounts refresh back to 10 customers every month.
Do unused customers roll over?: Plan customers carry over one month, capped at 2× your monthly allotment. Top-up customers sit in a separate bucket and never expire.
Is anything else ever charged?: No. Site analysis and persona generation are free on every tier, including Free. Your customers are the only thing that ever costs anything, and only when they deliver their verdict.
Is there a money-back guarantee?: Yes — 30 days on your first subscription payment. If mocktomer isn't useful, email support@mocktomer.ai and we refund it, no questions, no forms.
Do you have a referral program?: Yes — give a month, get a month. Share your referral link (in Settings once you sign up). When someone you refer takes a paid plan, they get their second month free, and you get a month of Starter credited to your billing — a free month if you're on Starter, $29 off if you're on a bigger plan.
Do you offer regional pricing?: Yes — we price for where you are. Most countries see local-currency prices adjusted to local purchasing power (up to 65% below US list); a few high-income markets see a slightly higher local list. Detected automatically, applied at checkout, and it covers the plans AND the one-time Deep Audit. No codes needed, and your rate never changes as long as you stay subscribed.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes — one click in the billing portal, no email required. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for.
Does the MCP server cost extra?: No — it's included on every plan, Free included. Runs your AI assistant launches through MCP spend exactly the same credits as runs launched from the dashboard, with the same charge-on-verdict rule. I'm an agency — can I run client sites?: Yes. With each client's permission, add their site and run every portfolio from one workspace. Scale's 50 site slots exist exactly for this — need more, just email us.
